★ Busan Subway Basics

Taking the subway is by far the easiest and most reliable way to get to the stadium. On concert days, heavy road traffic is expected — the subway is strongly recommended over taxis or buses.

Useful apps & tools:
① NAVER Map or KakaoMap (Google Maps is NOT recommended for Busan transit)
② Transportation card: WOWPASS card or T-money card

★ Getting to Busan Asiad Main Stadium by Subway

The stadium is about a 15 minute walk from Sports Complex Station (총합운동장역) on Subway Line 3. On concert day, large crowds will be heading the same way — just follow the flow!

★ From Sports Complex Station to the Stadium

Exit 9 → Asiad Main Stadium: ~13 min walk
The route is straightforward — follow the crowd on concert day and you’ll get there easily!

Sajik Station Exit 1 → Stadium: ~25 min walk
One stop before Sports Complex. Useful for avoiding post-show overcrowding (see below).

★ Post-Concert Crowd Tips: How to Avoid the Rush

At both the 2022 “Yet To Come in BUSAN” and 2019 “Magic Shop” concerts, Sports Complex Station became severely overcrowded — fans couldn’t reach the ticket gates and some took 2+ hours to get back to Seomyeon. Plan your exit strategy in advance!

① [Recommended] Sajik Station → Yeonsan → toward Seomyeon

Board at Sajik Station (one stop before Sports Complex). It’s a ~25 min walk from the stadium, but you’ll board before the train fills up. Best for those heading to Seomyeon or Busan Station.

② Gyodae Station (교대역) → toward Seomyeon / Busan Station

About 33 min walk — farther, but a good chance of getting a seat. Best for long-distance returns (Busan Station, Nampo).

③ Walk directly to Yeonsan Station → toward Seomyeon

Line 1 runs frequently so Yeonsan is unlikely to be overwhelmed. Good for short distances like Seomyeon.

④ Donghaeseon Geoje Station → toward Bujeon (Seomyeon)

~25 min walk from the stadium, but note: the Donghaeseon Line runs very infrequently. Mainly useful for those heading to Songjeong.

⑤ Line 3 Geoje Station → toward Deokcheon / Sasang

Board at Geoje Station to get on before the crowd surges. Best for those heading toward Deokcheon or Sasang.

⑥ [Not Recommended] Walk all the way to Seomyeon

4.7 km / ~1 hr 16 min on foot. Walking alone through Busan at night in June heat is not recommended.

★ Lessons Learned from the 2022 Busan Concert

The 2022 “Yet To Come in BUSAN” was a free concert managed by Busan City (not the usual concert team). The 2026 show is a paid ticketed event so operations should be improved — but knowing these past issues will help you prepare:

  • Confusing ticket exchange location: Held in a vast outdoor area with insufficient signage. Queues stretched hundreds of meters and staff gave conflicting information.
  • Name order confusion (especially for international fans): Booths were sorted by the first 3 letters of your Interpark registration name. “Last name First” vs “First name Last” registrations caused many fans to queue at the wrong booth.
  • Long waits in the heat: No shade or water in the outdoor area — many fans fell ill after waiting 2+ hours.
  • Single entrance point: All entry, food stalls, and ticket exchange were at one gate. 50,000 people tried to enter simultaneously and some fans missed the opening.

June in Busan can reach nearly 30°C (86°F) with possible rain. Check the weather forecast, arrive early, stay hydrated, and get ready to have the time of your life with BTS! 💜
